The Two Sides Of The Nicklas Bendtner Coin

There is one at every club—the marmite player. The player that as a fan you either love or hate. At Arsenal this player seems to be young Danish international striker, Nicklas Bendtner.

Week on week there seems to be discussions and heated debates between Gunners whether Bendtner has what it takes to succeed at a top club like Arsenal.

Is he a young talent who needs to find the finishing touch to become a top striker?

Is he a young man overcome by his own arrogance who feels he can wear pink boots without scoring 30 odd goals a season.

Time to flick the coin on Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner.

It has been an up and down season for Arsene Wenger hasn't it?

The media have been at him. They have been giving him an awful time, splashing him all over the back pages and whinging that he is whinging.

All this can stop with the return of one man, one very special man .... Jose Mourinho.

I can tell you all are starting to think I'm losing it but there is method to my madness.

The Two Sides of the Arsene Wenger Coin

It is getting a bit tiresome isn't it, this whole Arsene Wenger thing?

Arsenal fans seem to be falling out with each other over our own manager. There is a dichotomy forming between those called the "Wenger Out Brigade" and those called the "Arsene Knows Best Brigade".

These two groups are the extremes, they are polar opposites. In between I lie, along with the vast majority of Gooners. Let me explain the terms.

The "Wenger Out Brigade" have emerged over the last number of weeks. They blame all of Arsenal's woes on the current Arsenal manager, believing that he is a stubborn, selfish man who is putting his own interests in front of that of the club.

Hot or Not: Liverpool on Top as Ricardo Fuller takes a Pop

Top flight footballers may be able to play two games in a long weekend but it was too much for this writer.

As a result, Hot or Not was rested (with a smile, not a sulking face like Jermain Defoe) on Boxing Day but returns now with a look at Sunday's action.

HOT

Liverpool are top of the league at the half way point, who would have suspected that? Well, I predicted a return to the top two for the red half of Merseyside but not many outside Liverpool did. Another win, this time 5-1 at Newcastle United but there is still along way to go, so we shall move on instead of counting chickens or miss's by Sami Hyppia.
